Acceptance of Terms and Eligibility
Access to Playline and use of any sportsbook, casino, or related service on the platform is conditioned on acceptance of these terms of use in full. Registering an account, depositing funds, or placing a wager constitutes acknowledgment that the account holder has read, understood, and agreed to be bound by these conditions, together with the privacy and data handling policy and the rules published for each individual sport, market, and promotion. Anyone who does not agree with any provision should not register an account or continue using the platform.
Eligibility to hold an account is restricted to individuals who meet the minimum legal wagering age in their province or territory of residence at the time of registration. For most Canadian provinces the minimum age is nineteen years; Alberta, Manitoba, and Quebec permit registration from eighteen years. Registering, funding, or wagering from a jurisdiction where online sports wagering with an offshore operator is prohibited under local law is the sole responsibility of the account holder, and Playline accepts no liability for a user who accesses the platform in breach of regional restrictions applicable to that user.
An account may only be opened and operated by the natural person whose verified identity is on file. Corporate accounts, joint accounts, and accounts opened using a false name, a borrowed identity, or another person's payment instrument are prohibited outright. A single individual may not hold more than one active account, and detected duplicate registrations, whether opened under variant personal details or through a household connection, are subject to consolidation, suspension, or closure at the platform's discretion, with any associated bonus credit forfeited under the terms described in the sportsbook bonus guide.
These terms apply equally across every access channel — the desktop website, the mobile browser interface, and any native sports betting apps published by the operator. No separate agreement governs mobile use; the same conditions, wagering rules, and account restrictions carry across every device and access method without exception.
Account Registration, Verification, and Security
Opening an account requires submission of accurate personal information, including full legal name, date of birth, residential address, and a working contact method. Information supplied at registration must match the identity documents later required for verification; a mismatch between registration details and submitted identification can delay or block a payout request until the discrepancy is resolved. Standard Know Your Customer (KYC) and Anti-Money Laundering (AML) procedures require a valid government-issued photo identification document and, in most cases, a recent proof of address, before a withdrawal request is processed. Verification thresholds, document requirements, and typical review windows are detailed on the payment methods page.
The account holder is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of login credentials, including any password, personal identification number, or two-factor authentication device tied to the account. Any wager, deposit, or withdrawal request submitted using valid login credentials is treated as authorized by the account holder, regardless of whether a third party gained unauthorized access, unless the platform's security team determines otherwise following an internal review. Sharing login credentials with any other person is prohibited and may result in suspension.
Playline reserves the right to request additional verification at any point in the life of an account, including before processing a large withdrawal, when risk-monitoring systems flag unusual deposit or wagering activity, or when required under applicable anti-money-laundering regulation. Failure to provide requested documentation within a reasonable period may result in a hold on withdrawals, a temporary suspension, or closure of the account, with any verified real-money balance returned once compliance requirements are satisfied.
Accounts identified as belonging to a self-excluded individual under the terms described in the responsible gambling policy are closed immediately upon detection, with pending wagers voided and stakes refunded to the original account balance where the exclusion request was processed correctly and promptly.
Acceptable Use and Prohibited Conduct
The platform may be used only for lawful, personal, non-commercial wagering and entertainment purposes consistent with these terms. Prohibited conduct includes, without limitation: attempting to manipulate odds, exploit a software or pricing error for financial gain, collude with another account holder to guarantee an outcome across linked or connected wagers, use automated scripts or bots to place bets or scrape platform data, or interfere with the normal operation of the wagering engine, cashier, or any connected service.
Bonus abuse, including opening multiple accounts to claim a single promotion more than once, using a promotion in combination with a wagering pattern designed to lock in a guaranteed profit against the specific terms of that promotion, or depositing and withdrawing the same funds repeatedly purely to trigger repeat bonus eligibility, voids the associated bonus credit and any winnings derived from it. Full promotional conditions are published on the sportsbook bonus and promo code pages and form part of these terms by reference for the specific offer claimed.
Where technical error results in an incorrect price being displayed, a wager settling against a market that never should have been open, or a balance being credited in error, the platform reserves the right to void the affected wager, correct the balance, and recover any resulting overpayment from the account, including from funds already withdrawn where the error is later confirmed and reasonable recovery steps are taken. Genuine trading errors of this kind are distinct from a dispute over a correctly settled result, which follows the dispute procedure described later on this page.
Wagering Rules and Bet Settlement
A wager is confirmed only once it has been fully processed by the platform and displayed as an accepted, settled selection within the account's bet history; a request submitted but not confirmed due to a connectivity interruption, a market suspension, or a rejected price movement does not constitute an accepted bet, and the corresponding stake is not deducted from the account balance. Standard market rules, including any minimum odds threshold, applicable rollover conditions, or restricted bet types for a given promotion, are published alongside the relevant offer on the sportsbook bonus page and take precedence over a general assumption about how a wager settles.
Results are settled against official data from the relevant sport's governing body, sanctioned league, or an equivalent recognized statistics provider. Where a live or in-play market is affected by a data feed discrepancy, a stream delay, or a disputed on-field decision later overturned by an official body, the platform reserves the right to adjust or void the affected selections consistent with standard sportsbook settlement practice, detailed further on the live betting and sports betting odds pages. Postponed, abandoned, or rescheduled fixtures are handled under the settlement rule specific to that sport and market type; where no specific rule applies, the default treatment voids the wager and returns the stake to the account balance.
Cash-out and early settlement features, where available on a given market, operate on values calculated by the platform's own pricing engine at the moment the offer is accepted, and once confirmed, a cash-out transaction cannot be reversed or recalculated on the basis that the market subsequently moved in the account holder's favor.
Third-Party Links and Services
Intellectual Property
All software, odds compilation, graphics, trademarks, page layouts, and written content published across the platform remain the property of the operator or its licensors and are protected under applicable copyright and trademark law. Account holders receive a limited, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the platform for personal wagering purposes only. Copying, reproducing, distributing, reverse-engineering, or creating derivative works from any part of the platform, including odds data or interface elements, without prior written authorization is prohibited.
Any feedback, suggestion, or idea voluntarily submitted to the platform regarding functionality, design, or promotional structure may be used without compensation or attribution, and submitting such feedback does not create any ownership claim over subsequent platform changes.
External References and Linked Services
The platform may reference or link to third-party services, including payment processors, identity verification providers, data feed suppliers, or independent regulatory bodies. Inclusion of a reference to a third-party service does not constitute an endorsement of that service's own terms, privacy practices, or reliability, and the operator accepts no liability for content, availability, or conduct on a site it does not control. Account holders who choose to interact with a linked third-party service do so under that service's own applicable terms.
Regulatory information referenced across the platform, including licensing details, can be independently verified through the issuing authority's own public registry, such as the Curaçao Gaming Control Board or the Kahnawake Gaming Commission, depending on which framework applies to the account holder's region.
Limitation of Liability and Indemnification
The platform is provided on an "as available" basis. While reasonable technical measures are maintained to keep the wagering engine, cashier, and account systems stable and accurate, no guarantee is made that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from a temporary data feed discrepancy affecting displayed odds or live statistics. To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, the operator, its licensors, and its service providers are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential loss arising from use of the platform, including loss connected to a service interruption, a delayed withdrawal, or a market suspension during active play, beyond the funds held in the affected account balance.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for fraud, for a deliberate breach of a statutory duty owed to a consumer under applicable Canadian or provincial law, or for any other liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the regulatory framework governing the account holder's jurisdiction.
By using the platform, the account holder agrees to indemnify and hold the operator harmless from any claim, loss, or expense arising from a breach of these terms, from providing false information during registration or verification, or from wagering activity conducted in violation of local law applicable to that account holder. This indemnification does not extend to losses arising from the operator's own confirmed error in odds compilation, settlement processing, or payment handling, which are addressed under the correction and dispute provisions described elsewhere on this page.
Changes to These Terms
Suspension and Termination
An account may be suspended or closed where the operator reasonably determines a breach of these terms has occurred, including duplicate registration, bonus abuse, collusion, or use of the platform for a purpose other than personal wagering. Suspension pending investigation does not automatically forfeit a verified real-money balance; funds legitimately held on account, excluding disputed bonus credit tied to the conduct under review, are returned once an investigation concludes, subject to standard verification and payout procedures described on the payment methods page.
An account holder may close an account voluntarily at any time by contacting support or, where wagering-related concerns are involved, through the tools described in the responsible gambling policy, including a formal self-exclusion request.
Amendments and Governing Rules
These terms may be revised from time to time to reflect changes in regulatory obligations, platform functionality, or standard industry practice. A revised version of these terms takes effect once published, and continued use of the platform after a revision is published constitutes acceptance of the updated terms. Material changes affecting active wagering rules or promotional eligibility are generally reflected directly on the relevant page, such as the sportsbook bonus guide, rather than requiring a separate individual notice for every account holder.
Disputes concerning account handling, wager settlement, or payment processing are first addressed through the platform's own customer support channels, described on the about us page. Where a dispute cannot be resolved directly, it is referred to independent review under the framework of the regulatory body holding jurisdiction over the operator's license, consistent with the dispute-resolution pathway described in the legal and data policy overview.
